DiscordMind Terms of Service

Last Updated: May 26, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of the DiscordMind Discord application and related services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By adding DiscordMind to a Discord server or using its commands, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use DiscordMind.

2. Description of Service

DiscordMind is a Discord bot that may provide voice meeting recording, transcription, AI-generated summaries, action items, decisions, and daily text-channel digests.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old and comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Discord's Community Guidelines.

4. Server Administrator Responsibility

If you add DiscordMind to a server, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of the bot complies with applicable laws, Discord rules, and your server's own policies.

You are responsible for notifying users and obtaining any required consent before recording, transcribing, or summarizing voice or text content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

6. Privacy

Our collection and use of data is described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Subscription and Billing

DiscordMind offers a Free plan and a Pro plan. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Discord's built-in subscription system. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Discord's billing and subscription terms in addition to these Terms.

Subscription status is tied to your Discord server and is subject to the terms set by Discord Marketplace. We are not responsible for billing disputes, payment processing issues, or refund decisions made by Discord.

8. Usage Limits

Each plan includes daily limits on AI transcription time and language model token usage. If your server reaches a daily limit during a meeting, the recording will stop automatically and a summary will still be generated from the content captured before the limit was reached. Limits reset daily and are shown via the /billing status command.

9. AI-Generated Content

DiscordMind may generate transcripts, summaries, action items, decisions, and digests using AI. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.

10. Third-Party Services

DiscordMind relies on Discord, OpenAI, Sarvam AI, AssemblyAI, ElevenLabs, hosting providers, and other infrastructure services. We are not responsible for outages, errors, policy changes, or data handling by third-party services outside our control.

11. Service Availability

DiscordMind is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or permanent availability of any feature.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to DiscordMind at any time if we believe these Terms are violated, the service is abused, or continued access may create legal, security, or operational risk.

You may stop using DiscordMind at any time by removing the bot from your server.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiscordMind is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DiscordMind and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of DiscordMind after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
